BMC - The venue
The Brighton Media Centre provides serviced office space, desk space, virtual office and media facilities. Our two buildings are both fabulously located in the heart of Brighton - Friese-Greene House is based in Middle Street within the The Lanes and Old Steyne House is on the Old Steine. Both sites are just a 10 minute stroll from the station, a stone’s throw from the sea and surrounded by a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants and other local amenities. Everything is right on your doorstep.
The BMC houses a wealthy community of industry talents, including web developers, digital marketing specialists, music and film producers, architects and many more, creating a vibrant social network of well-connected businesses.
- Friese-Greene House, at 15-17 Middle Street, is a friendly venue in the heart of The Lane's. As well as flexible office and desk space, various exciting events are held here throughout the year. This venue incorporates two flexible performance spaces, exhibition gallery, a secret garden and a licensed bar. Our flexible spaces can be adapted to a number of different functions: exhibitions, trade shows, performances, book launches, workshops, networking events, yoga lessons or art fairs. We seat up to 60 people for a performance and can hold more with standing room in these spaces. A stage and lighting can be provided upon request. There is a small wheelchair access lift and disabled toilets are available in our Friese-Greene House building.
- Old Steyne House, at 21-22 Old Steine, is a bright, roomy period building, a pebble's throw from the sea and a 10 minute stroll from Brighton Station. Excellent views over the Steine and its Victorian fountain. A great choice of suites and a meeting room make this a very popular choice for people looking to set up business in central Brighton.
The BMC holds a full Alcohol & Performance Licence.
