BMC HAS MOVED

BMC has moved offices to Friese Greene House.

BMCOffice BMC Admin Staff are now happily installed in the new offices on the ground floor of Friese Greene House, 15-17 Middle Street.

The usual telephone numbers and email addresses still apply, however, the postal address has changed from 9-12 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL, to Friese Greene House, 15-17 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL.

Please amend your records accordingly.

All BMC exhibitions will now be housed in the Friese Greene House Basement Gallery, rather than the Gallery at 9-12 Middle Street. The lease on this space and the Conference Room has now expired, there is a new freeholder about to take over 9-12 and we have decided not to renew.

There is a new recycling area at 15-17 Middle Street behind the blue screen in reception. Here you can deposit full recycling bags as well as old CD's, stamps and toner cartridges (please make sure all cartridges are without their packaging - this can be recycled in bags bought from reception for £1.50 each).

The BMC Conference Room will no longer be available for hire. Instead, there is a meeting room available in each building at £8.00 per hour (£10.00/hr for non BMC clients). It is possible also to hire the Friese Greene Gallery for exhibitions or larger meetings, etc.

Please contact Helen Taylor at Facilities for more information about the gallery and meeting rooms.

LIFE DRAWINGS

See life drawings in the Friese Greene Gallery from 3rd to 17th June.

Life Drawings Four artists, Pirkko Cunningham, Tanya Litvinov, Ruth Rix & Anna Taylor, are exhibiting their work together for the first time.

"We all see drawing from life as being vital and as an end in itself. We realise the importance of the struggle and the search for the form and structure of the human body. The drawings represent an urgent and energetic attempt to engage with and respond to the model and the moment and commit it to the page. All attended Julian Le Bas's classes and worked together for over 10 years. Never before have we exhibited just the 4 of us. Because we have similar aims and respect and admire each others drawings the works hang well together"

For more information, contact Helen Taylor.
