NEW EXHIBITION AT BRIGHTON MEDIA CENTRE GALLERY

Chris Chris
Christian Inkpen is a Brighton based designer who has recently completed a series of paintings focusing on famous individuals. Each subject is chosen for their perceived character and familiarity. The use of colour and style of painting are then derived from the attributes often given to the person in focus - with the positive and strong elements emphasised.

Christian also brings his graphic design experience to the work particularly with regard to layout and colour. He has tried to combine this discipline with an instinctive way of working. Primarily it is hoped that the work communicates to a broad spectrum of people.

Portraits by Christian Inkpen Friday 9th April - Friday 23rd April 2004, Brighton Media Centre Gallery, Middle Street, Brighton.
For more information, please contact Emily.

Also coming up at Brighton Media Centre Gallery:
  • Antony Beckett Ex-editorial photographer for Dazed & Confused magazine holds his first Brighton show of personal work. Running from 29th April - 31st May 2004.
