	Hello! A big hello and welcome to our brand new ENews publication - a simple way to keep you informed. This month sees some exciting major changes at BMC as part of our continued plans to develop and improve the Centre. Our aim is to provide a supportive work environment for all our clients, so we need your feedback to improve our services. Centre Point Over the next few months we will be developing a new specialist information service about BMC, the media sector and all the companies working here. It will have a virtual presence on the much visited BMC website and a physical on-street location in the BMC Gallery at 9-12 Middle Street. From early March, this will become a central reference point for all Media Centre sites as a showcase, retail area and information point, although the full information function will take time and your involvement to develop properly. To begin the process of information gathering and dissemination, this ENews letter will be updated regularly, so if you want it to work for you, read it and respond! 	New Office Space Suites are advertised only to BMC Clients this week. We will advertise outside the centre from Monday 18th February, so please register your interest today. Services
	Photo-Media Photographic Studios The studios at Friese Greene House offer darkroom facilties, training courses and a full range of printing and developing services in colour and black & white. Photo-Media also provide a professional photography service with on-site infinity cove and lighting. BMC clients receive a 10% discount - for more info or a tour of the studio call Jerry on 201310. Photo-Media are also producing photographic work for the reception at Friese Greene to be up soon. Business Development Service The business advice which has always been available informally to BMC tenants is now a dedicated service under the name Biz Vizion. It is operated by Ian Elwick, Chairman of BMC and Barclay Thompson of Formatt Solutions Ltd - both seasoned professionals with more than 20 years experience of setting up and managing businesses and offering consultancy services. It is a practical, results-orientated service aimed exclusively at creative and technology-based businesses and offers competitive rates. Meeting Room Facilities In reviewing this service we have concluded that we will no longer keep a conference room and two meeting rooms. We are planning to retain the meeting room at the Old Steyne and possibly the room at 68 Middle Street, but we would like to hear your views before making the final decision. Contact Jemima Service Reminders *Groves will be cleaning windows at every site on Friday 15th February. *Cleaners visit each site daily after 5.30pm to clean communal areas and take away black-bagged rubbish left outside the door of your suite. *Lift engineers have carried out the usual monthly maintenance checks on at all sites. *Blade Security checks all sites every nights, both at random and in response to alarm call outs. *Site maintenance is ongoing and worked on every week. *Nearly all on-site signage is finished; a few final adjustments will be made over the next few weeks. *Report site issues to your Site Manager.

	Milia 2002 The annual conference for interactive media has been taking place in Cannes all week. Getfrank, Worth Media and Runtime Collective have all been taking part in this key international event, promoting and representing the media industry in Sussex and in the UK as a whole.
