Cheaper meeting rooms BMC has two meeting rooms - the Green Room at BMC Old Steyne and the Gold Room at 9-12 Middle Street. Rates from £10 per hour with a 20% discount to BMC companies. We've also negotiated special reduced rates at the De Vere Grand and Hotel Pelirocco - please contact Jemima on 201375 or Emily on 201371 to find out more. Worth Media get involved in the community Staff from Worth Media have been working alongside the National Trust to help conserve parts of the South Downs. A group of seven staff donated some valuable spare time to 'scrub bashing' - a vital activity to conserve the delicate environment of this local area of outstanding natural beauty. Angela Galvin, Interactive Designer at Worth Media, really enjoyed it. "It was great to get out in the fresh air, with fantastic views over the Downs and feel like we were doing something worthwhile." Worth Media is currently working towards achieving Community Mark, which involves the company contributing support to the local community. The company is looking forward to getting involved in a range of community projects including more scrub bashing at the beginning of March. To find out more about the project, contact Amanda Cooton on 201152 or email amanda.cooton@worthmedia.net. For more information about Worth Media please visit www.worthmedia.net . More free drinks! In a blatant effort to extract amusing anecdotes from our talented clients (and to spend more time in the pub), Carla, Jemima & Emily will this month be launching our imaginatively titled 'Us 3 Take You for a Drink' project. This will involve us taking one of you lucky people to the pub and having some drinks, on us. If you'd like to be taken out for a drink (and boy - are we funny!) just email info@mediacentre.org and we'll sort it out. The only catch is that you have to tell us interesting things for ENews... Eligible ball The Insight's next singles bash, the Eligible Ball, is this coming Valentine's Day - Feb 14th at 8pm. Full of articulate, fun men and women the Eligible Ball has a reputation as the most happening singles event in the city - a chance to meet, chat, socialise, flirt, and who knows what else? Ticket includes a free first drink, light bites, music and dancing, a new meeting game, plus there's a chance to win prizes on the night. Numbers are limited, so book your place now - tickets £20 from Komedia Box Office on 01273 647100. ENews is one year old! We always appreciate your feedback - please contact Jemima on 201375. | |||||||||||||||
