Last in Line Christian Knight who works for the BMC is currently in the planning stages of putting together a small, independent Promotions and Publishing company called Last in Line and is looking for contributors. Initially he will be focussing on local film-makers, photographers, writers and musicians. The plan is to match artists who are compatible i.e. writers and photographers and compile their work into print regularly. He will also be promoting evenings where photographers work can be displayed alongside spoken word performances by writers and performers, musicians can showcase and perhaps have screenings of short films. Basically, showcase evenings for local talent and to promote Last in Line. Artists will also have a chance to sell their work through these evenings, website and mailing list. The artists will retain the rights to all their work and are free to join or leave Last in Line as they please. The thinking is that if they introduce local artists from all genres and collaborate on evenings and projects there is a better chance of their material being seen.
So if there are any artists who may be interested in showcasing their work / performance through Last in Line contact Christian at: chrisknight123@hotmail.co.uk
