The corridor and stairwell on the ground floor of Friese Greene have been transformed by the photographs of Bipinchandra and Simon Evans. The powerful and facinating imagery is well worth a look.

Brighton Media Centre has recently received a very official looking document from the "Data Protection Agency Services - Enforcement Section", which is trying to get us to part with £95 to comply with the Data Protection Act. The Act exists, but no-one should part with any money to the Company above, or any such company who is trying to frighten businesses into paying inflated sums to them. In the real world, if you still need to register under the DP Act, this will only cost £35, and will not be accompanied by threats. We would like to suggest that the best response is to either : A) bin the scam letter; B) contact the local Trading Standards Office C) If you have parted with money, try (B) or your solicitor to get the money back. If you have paid one of these illegal companies, they probably won`t have registered you under the Data Protection Act anyway, so you will still have to do that..............!
