FINE WINES .............................................................................................
Brighton Media Centre Staff had the pleasure of a wine tasting evening in the Gallery as a team building exercise and would all thoroughly recommend the event. BMC's newest member, Sarah, said of the evening " I really enjoyed the relaxed and informal atmosphere and it was a great way to get to know everyone better whilst learning more about one of my favourite subjects: wine!" Hancock Wines have developed this more recent, but increasingly popular area of expertise; the wine tasting evenings that range from formal - Claret Tasting, Tour round Burgundy, Crème de la Crème, Wine with Food, Blind Tasting, to informal - New World versus Old World, Quality V. Quantity, The Chardonnays, Mystery Wine (and many more), through to Wine Quizzes & Competitions. Hancock Wines are able to offer our Wine Tasting Evenings to both Corporate & Private clients alike and can guarantee that there will not be a wine snob in sight! They also supply a professional personal service, which is uniquely tailored to suit the customer. Hancock Wines are able to source wines to match your request, personality and dinner party. Their specialist area is wine with food and they are able to offer you comprehensive advice and guidance on your various needs. Tell me a little more about yourself...
|
This month Kate Whyman of Aware Communications at our Old Styene Site let us pick her brains...
3. Describe your fantasy holiday... Lying under African stars and listening to the sounds of the wild. 4. What is your biggest achievement so far? Finally taking up the cello at the ripe old age of 39 - I'd wanted to play since I was a child.. 5. Favorite place to eat out? There are lots, but Cafe Nia is one of them. 6. What would your motto be? Be true to yourself and live in the moment (I don't always manage either). 7. Favorite song? (Come up and see me) Make me smile, by Cockney Rebel. (Not sure I've got the brackets in the right place.) 8. Best thing that happened to you this year? I met the man I'm marrying next week! 9. What book are you reading at the moment? Stiff by Mary Roach - macabre but fascinating. 10. Where do you see yourself in ten years time? Feels like anything's possible - I could be anywhere. YOUR TURN....... .......................................................................................... Fancy a grilling? Email info@mediacentre.org or call 201371.
