Documentary fever will once again be hitting the streets of Brighton and Hove on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of February with the return of SEE, The Brighton Documentary Film Festival.

SEE is dedicated to all things documentary and celebrates both existing and emerging talent within the industry.

This year SEE will be showcasing the work of some of the UK's most well respected documentary filmmakers with a weekend packed full of screenings, seminars and special events with the leading lights in the industry. This year we are honoured to have Ditchling based filmmaker Luke Holland on board as our Patron.

The line up for 2009 includes master classes with Marc Isaacs and Henry Singer, a screening of Brian Hill's brand new feature doc 'The Climate of Change', Jane Treays' 'Mum, Heroin and Me, Jerry Rothwell's acclaimed 'Heavy Load', double Grierson winner 'Here's Johnny' from the Animal Monday crew, David Notman-Watt's 'Alex James: The Cocaine Diaries', Elizabeth Stopford's 'I'm Not Dead Yet' and a premiere from Daisy Asquith, all with Q&A's! We also have an array of the best student films from the region and lots of exciting panel sessions from Funding and Distribution to 'How to Make a Documentary,' and 'Behind the Green Screen.'

Organisations such as BBC Storyville, BRITDOC, One World Broadcasting Trust, Green TV, Shooting People, Channel 4's First Cut, and Current TV are also involved and that's just for starters.

Venue: UMI Hotel on Brighton seafront will play host for the whole weekend.

The website is now live with lots more information: www.seefestival.org
