There is also a book launch and signing of Wigans latest book The Visual Dictionary of Illustration published by AVA at 1pm on Saturday 13 June.

Featuring more than 250 terms this book is a guide to the many and varied terms used frequently within illustration, it is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in the art of illustration, each term is explained and contextualised giving the reader an enhanced understanding of illustration terminology.

If a picture tells a thousand words, Wigans paintings and drawings are worth an entire library of professorial works on pop culture.

Wave is an art exhibition presented by first year FDA fine art students studying at Brighton University. This show is the result of combined efforts over the previous nine months; the work varies widely and as a group we have a broad range of influences and styles, from fine painting to printing to sculpture. For many of the group this is the first show we have been involved in and therefore would be an opportunity to come and see new and exciting artists in the Brighton area.
