New Perspectives Networking Event

26th May 09

New Perspectives Networking Event

Another successful Networking Event at the BMC!

The Media Centre's latest Networking Event proved to be popular with a good turnout of BMC clients, representatives of local businesses and a number of media based freelancers.

Of particular note was the informative (and as it turned out, interactive!) talk given by our very own MD, Don Elwick, regarding the two aspects of our brain, the organisational left side and the creative right side. In collaboration with Jon Barr of Action Coach, they demonstrated in a creative, yet organised way how we use the mind and what this can mean to your business.

Sandwiching the talk was a chance to check out our latest exhibition and, thanks to the weather, an opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine in the serene surroundings of the BMC garden.

Our next event is still to be confirmed but if you wish to go on the mailing list, or even if you want to come and check out any of our office space or facilities, then contact Carl on 01273 201375 or carl@mediacentre.org.

WITHOUT LIMITS

A series of paintings by Barry Julian Willison

May 20th – June 2nd

This contemporary art work is channelled and therefore spontaneous.

Barry is a psychic, a remote viewer, a practitioner of all things connected with High Magick and the works are an expression of half a lifetime's journeying through the realms of Spirit.

Barry works from a space of waking trance meditation, the discipline of reducing active consciousness thus allowing the work to flow organically. This results in work representing material entirely from the unconscious world.

This is the material expression of a private unique world of the artist.

Using exclusively acrylics, the work consists of heavily layered, textured combinations, the keynotes being strident colours and themed shapes consisting of his signature freehand figures made up of disconnected bold strokes.
